About Me
"The world can be amazing, when you are slightly strange"
I am currently a student at Rowan University majoring in both Elementary Education and Liberal Studies. Within my Liberal studies degree my content areas are English and Writing Arts. I am also becoming certified to be able to become a Special Education teacher as well. I am extremely excited to get my career started as a teacher; I have looked forward to having my own classroom from a very young age. I hold a few jobs as of right now each of which I really enjoy. I waitress at a local restaurant in my town called Captains Inn, alongside with teaching Sunday School in a Pre-K classroom at Renaissance Church in Summit, NJ, and I also hold a job throughout the summer as a teachers assistant at a Special Needs program run through my towns Recreation Department.
In my spare time I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. If we aren’t conversing at the dinner table over a delicious homemade meal we are lounging at the beach in the summertime. I am also a Christian, and I could not be more thankful for the personal relationship I have with God and all of the blessings he has put into my life over the years. Traveling is something I really love; I try to spend as much time as I can in the city whether it is New York or Philadelphia. I really enjoy how fast paced and culturally vast these places are which always makes for an exciting experience. I am extremely interested in music and art, if I did not decide to pursue a career in teaching my second dream job would be to own a record label. I cannot leave out my two most cherished cats Peaches and Angel; I love them to bits and miss them dearly when I am away at school. I look forward to what the future has in hold for me and can’t wait for an amazing adventure.
